Chlorophyll Breakdown: Similar to tobacco, the fermentation process reduces chlorophyll (leading to a browner appearance of the buds), significantly improving the flavor and quality of the flowers. This also makes the smoking experience much sweeter.

Application:

• Leave the buds attached to the stem for now.
• Trim the stems so you can comfortably lay them lengthwise in the compartments.
• Use a timer and a hygrometer (not included).
• Check the humidity daily. It should remain consistently between 60-70%.
• The activated carbon filter works by drawing fresh air into the wooden box while expelling the “old” humid air.
• A general tip: Run the activated carbon filter continuously for the first two days. Starting on Day 3, it should run three times a day for 10 minutes each.
• From Day 5 onward, you can place a moisture tray in the fermentation box (e.g., with a damp paper towel) to help maintain humidity levels.
