Bonsanto CO2 Bags are specifically designed for the Mini Grow Box. They facilitate quick cultivation and increased yields. Overall, these bags improve growing conditions and stabilize the plant down to the roots.
Why Use CO2 Bags?
Every plant requires carbon dioxide to grow—specifically, to convert chlorophyll in the leaves. Therefore, CO2 bags are excellent for accelerating plant growth and enhancing overall health.
Important: The CO2 bags are completely safe and non-toxic. The amount of CO2 produced is insufficient to pose any danger to humans.
What is Carbon Dioxide?
Carbon dioxide (CO2) is an odorless, non-toxic gas that naturally occurs in soil, air, and water. Plants absorb CO2 through photosynthesis, producing oxygen as a byproduct. Without adequate carbon dioxide, plants cannot generate enough nutrients to reach their full size and potential.

- Increasing from 400 ppm to 500 ppm speeds growth by 25%, saving you 2.5 weeks of cultivation time (from germination to harvest over 10 weeks).
- Increasing from 400 ppm to 700 ppm speeds growth by up to 40% (yield +10%).
- Increasing from 400 ppm to 1000 ppm can speed growth by up to 50% (yield +25%).
What PPM Do Bonsanto CO2 Bags Provide?
In the first four days, Bonsanto CO2 bags achieve a concentration of 900-1000 ppm in the Mini Grow Box. From day five, the concentration decreases to 800 ppm and stabilizes around 700 ppm by days 10-14.
What to Consider?
- With added CO2, the plant requires more nutrients, meaning you need to fertilize regularly and ensure sufficient water supply.
- CO2 is effective only during the day, so seeds that require 18 hours of light are more suitable to maximize the effects of CO2 bags.
