To all tent enthusiasts: We are pleased to introduce the Bonsanto Growbox Tent Complete Set from the LARGE collection, which offers a generous growing volume with its dimensions of 80x80x180cm.
The heart of our GrowBox Complete Set is a tent provided by the renowned Belgian manufacturer Secret Jardin®, called Hydro Shoot 80. It has a volume of 80x80x180cm and can be set up quickly and easily without the need for tools.
Due to its size, the tent is primarily suitable for apartments and houses where sufficient space is available. It easily accommodates up to 6 plants. The tent is equipped with 2 Max activated carbon filters, which are significantly quieter than conventional tube activated carbon filters. Our concept is Plug & Play – just plug it in and get started. For quick and easy results, we recommend using Bonsanto® soil and Bonsanto fertilizer. Additionally, the tent comes with 1x 70 Watt Bonsanto® Full Spectrum LED. This high-performance LED lamp has the advantage of being conveniently used during the germination, growth, and flowering phases, eliminating the need for frequent lamp changes.
The package also includes our self-developed, compact filter system: Unlike other bulky filter systems, our filter system can be installed inside the tent and ensures odor-free cultivation of your favorite plants through its activated carbon filter. And it operates with almost no noise, allowing you to set up the tent even in your bedroom closet.
The Full Spectrum LED light is the ideal solution for a high-yield indoor garden. Its extensive light spectrum makes it suitable for all types of plants and all growth stages. Additionally, it is extremely energy-efficient: Despite comparable performance to traditional ~350W lighting systems, such as sodium vapor lamps, these LED lights use only a fraction of the electricity. With 18 hours of light per day, electricity costs amount to around €11 per month—depending on the electricity rate, of course.
Does the activated carbon filter provide sufficient performance?
For the tent, we typically use a MAX activated carbon filter. This filter provides enough power even for a grow tent with the dimensions 80x80x180cm. However, to avoid fully utilizing the Max filter (and to minimize noise), we include two MAX activated carbon filters with the tent. This way, you can reduce the filter capacity to 50-80% while still benefiting from sufficient filtration capacity. For example, the activated carbon filter only needs to run at full capacity during the last 3 weeks of the flowering phase. The tent can be expanded with additional Max activated carbon filters (up to 2 more).

How can the effectiveness or “quality” of an LED lamp be assessed?
The quality of an LED lamp can be determined by the PAR value. Light consists of photons that can oscillate at different wavelengths. The wavelengths that are important for photosynthesis and, therefore, plant growth are called PAR(photosynthetically active radiation). The PAR value measures the flow of these photosynthetic photons and is expressed in micromoles. A higher PAR value indicates better quality and efficiency of the lamp, which can lead to higher yields from your plants. Our Bonsanto® LED lamps have a high PAR value, maximizing the yield of your plants.
Do I need 250 watts for a 100x100x200cm tent?
Many competitors offer 100x100x200cm tents (+/- 10cm) with 250 or 300 watts. Growers automatically assume that more watts will result in higher yields. However, this is definitely not the case. In most cases, 250/300-watt LED lamps in tents are a waste of money as they generate unnecessarily high electricity costs. You can achieve the same yields with good quality LEDs (Bonsanto®) using just 100 watts. This can save you up to €500 in electricity costs per year while producing nearly the same yield.
Why is that?
More wattage does not necessarily mean more yield. The correct PAR value is what matters. Expensive LEDs usually have much higher efficiency (PAR/square meter).
The cultivation area is crucial for yield. On one square meter, it doesn’t make much difference whether you grow with a high-quality 100-watt LED or a cheap 250-watt LED plant lamp. The yield will not vary much in the end, but the electricity costs will differ significantly. With the Bonsanto Grow Tents, you can save around €500 in electricity costs per year.

Habe mir erst das Zelt gekauft, war mir aber doch viel zu groß. Bonsanto war so nett, den Artikel direkt umzutauschen. Habe mir stattdessen den L Koffer geholt.

After initial concerns, the SANLight are completely sufficient. My buddy has the EVO. We have almost the same yield. The MAX activated carbon filter is quite loud. Therefore 2 stars deducted, but overall I am satisfied

Schneller Aufbau, bis jetzt läuft alles gut. Ich muss die MAX Filter auch nicht voll auf 100% laufen lassen. Meist reicht 40-60%.
