We present the Bonsanto Growbox Tent Complete Set from the LARGE collection. The tent has dimensions 100x100x200cm.
The tent comes from the Belgian manufacturer Secret Jardin® and is called Hydro Shoot 100. It has a volume of 100x100x200cm and can be assembled without tools.
The tent is designed for rooms with sufficient space, such as in apartments and houses, and can accommodate up to 6 plants. It contains 2 Max activated carbon filters, which are quieter than traditional tube activated carbon filters. The set is plug & play compatible.
We recommend the use of Bonsanto® soil and Bonsanto fertilizer for optimal results. In addition, the tent is equipped with Full Spectrum LED lights, suitable for all growth phases, which eliminates the need for frequent lamp replacement. The lights have a good depth effect and effectively supply even the lower leaves.
The set includes a compact, in-house filter system that can be mounted inside the tent, unlike larger alternatives. It provides odor-free cultivation through its activated carbon filter and operates quietly, which allows it to be installed in living spaces.
The Full Spectrum LED light is the ideal solution for a high-yield indoor nursery. Its extensive light spectrum makes it suitable for all plant species and all growth phases. In addition, it is extremely energy-efficient: despite comparable output to conventional ~350W lights, such as sodium vapor lamps, these LED lights require only a fraction of the electricity. When used for 18 hours of light per day, the electricity costs amount to about €11 per month—depending on the electricity tariff, of course.
Does the activated carbon filter provide sufficient performance?
For the tent, we usually use a MAX activated carbon filter. This filter provides sufficient power even for a growbox tent with the dimensions 100x100x200cm. However, in order to minimize noise and avoid fully utilizing the Max filter, we include two MAX activated carbon filters with the tent. This way, you can reduce the filter capacity to 50-80% and still benefit from sufficient filtration. For example, the activated carbon filter only needs to run at full capacity during the last 3 weeks of the bloom phase. The tent can be expanded with additional Max activated carbon filters (up to 2 more).

How can the effectiveness or “quality” of an LED lamp be assessed?
The quality of an LED lamp can be determined by the PAR value. Light consists of photons that can oscillate at different wavelengths. The wavelengths important for photosynthesis and plant growth are called PAR (photosynthetically active radiation). The PAR value measures the flux of these photosynthetic photons and is expressed in micromoles. A higher PAR value indicates better quality and efficiency of the lamp, which can lead to higher yields from your plants. Our Bonsanto® LED lamps have a high PAR value, maximizing the yield of your plants.
Do I need 250 watts for a 100x100x200cm tent?
Many competitors offer 100x100x200cm tents (+/- 10cm) with 250 or even 300 watts. Growers automatically assume that more watts will result in higher yields. However, this is definitely not the case. In most cases, 250/300-watt LED lamps in tents are a waste of money, as they generate unnecessarily high electricity costs. You can achieve the same yields with good quality This can save you up to €500 in electricity costs per year, while producing almost the same yield.
Why is that?
More wattage does not necessarily mean more yield. The correct PAR value is what makes the difference. Expensive LEDs typically have much higher efficiency (PAR/QM).
The cultivation area is the key factor for yield. On a square meter, it doesn’t make much difference if you’re growing with a high-quality 100-watt LED or a cheap 250-watt LED plant lamp. In the end, the yield will be almost the same. However, the electricity costs will be significantly different. With the offered Bonsanto Grow Tents, you can save about €500 in electricity costs per year.

How does the cultivation in the Grow Box work?
